1. First memory of club -

Playing with the carrick road against current team mates for glenmuir hillstreet and trips to Croke Park with the carrick road teams, the food fights in 4 Lanterns in drogheda on the way home will never be forgotten!

2. Biggest GAA infleunce -

My dad Benny was always involved with underage sides after hanging up his boots and would be at every game. Mam was and still is at every game cheering us on, id like to think we inspired her love of GAA as she has now progressed to following her native county Dublin all over the country and winning 6 all-irelands in a row! Watching Conall being part of the Leinster winning side in 03/04 was definitely an inspiration and a few years on when i started out training with the senior team men like Aidan Delaney, Peter McGinnity, Ray Rooney and Robbie McCrave were always looking out for the young lads and were a great influence. Id also have to mention Kieran Maguire and Padraig Califf who managed us with the development squads and both certainly helped me improve as a player throughout my teenage years.

3. Worst Trainer -

Theres been a few bluffers over the years but most of them would manage the warm up at least....not Burkie! he always somehow avoided it!

4. Best trainer -

Some serious men for the grafting in training but none more so than David Moloney. Hes just on a different level..a machine!

5. Funniest team mate -

A few to choose from here!.. Mc Cann could hold fort in any establishment with his impressions and great stories while Raffo, Moloney and the Mc Sorley’s all deserve a mention..all great characters but id have to say the “our kid” Scuds Coleman! never a dull moment whether its in the dressing room at training or in the pub after a match..scudsy will entertain!

6. Favourite pitch -

I always loved playing and training out in stabannon but nothing beats playing on a summers evening down in the ramparts..all year round the lads always have it in fantastic condition.

7. Most memorable win -

My first year in the senior panel winning intemediate in 2007 is great memory to have but id have to say the senior semi-final win against the martins in 2017.

8. Favourite sportsperson -

Alan Brogan. I often used to travel with mam to croker for the dubs games in the 00’s and Brogan was always a joy to watch. He could do the donkey work, kick scores with ease from both feet and the accuracy and vision in his passing made him one of the great playmakers of his generation and one of the best ive watched live.

9. Your having a dinner party, Three people you'd invite -

Roy Keane, Ronnie O’Sullivan , Anto Mc Sorley!
