A large crowd gathered in the Fairways hotel for a night of entertainment

Lip Sync Winners 003

A large crowd of over 600 filed into the Fairways hotel for a hotly anticipated night's entertainment. 11 acts had been working hard over the previous six weeks under the guidance of Dancing with the stars professional dancer and choreographer Laura Nolan to battle it out for the crown of Dundalk Gaels Lip Sync champions and raise funds for the club. Their hard work really paid off as each performance had the four judges and attendance on their feet with roars of approval,

MC Olly Turner kept the night flowing with laughter while introducing and interviewing the acts. The F'n'Karens were first on stage and set the tone for what was to come, the Screams in the room by the time the three finalists, 003, The Dundalk Dolls and Bay City Teachers where announced had reached fever pitch. All three acts performed one more time before the judges, Blackstone motors Sandra Waters, Tom Doonan actor and performer of musical theatre, Tara Gill of SONG Dundalk, and dancer Adam Fogarty who featured in the 2023 blockbuster Barbie crowned 003 as worthy champions.

Yous left no stone unturned to deliver a spectacular evening. I have to mention one man in particular Niall Morgan who lead the group with utter dedication, he must be going to sleep at night just muttering the words lip sync. Thanks to all 11 of our acts, your time, commitment and fundraising efforts are massively appreciated by everyone and without yous the night would not be possible. Special mention to the Bay and Dife acts from outside the club, our club will be forever grateful".
