The Great Dundalk Gaels Walk

After a two year absence due to the Pandemic, The great Dundalk Gaels walk returns for it's Fourth outing on Saturday April 23rd. The organising committee are busy putting plans in place to make this the biggest event yet. A day for Family, friends and club mates we are asking that everyone gets involved in not only a great day out but also a vital fundraiser in aid of club development.

Dundalk Gaels have been part of the community of the town for nearly 100 years. We are involved in promoting GAA games and positive lifestyles through coaching, games and social activities for hundreds of children and adults, both male and female from nursery level to senior and beyond. Our facilities are used by schools, colleges and community based organisations. The club are always looking to the future and ways in which we can improve our facilities for existing and future generations. One of the many ambitious projects, is the installation of state of the art floodlights to enable us to continue to cater for these demands. As you can imagine, fundraising is a challenging part of the life of the club, but we have always had fantastic support. We are asking players, members, supporters and friends to get involved by taking a sponsorship card, which will be available from any committee member or coach, or promoting our GoFundMe link.

We will be meeting at the Lumpers at 12pm on Saturday 23rd of April and walking across the picturesque Cooley mountains. Finger food will be served in the Lumpers afterwards and transport will be available back to town. We look forward to seeing the Mountain awash with Blue and White.
